Do You Have Freezing Cold Hands and Feet?

Hey friends! As mentioned before in previous posts, for enzymes and probiotics (beneficial bacteria) in our body to function optimally, maintaining the body temperature at around 37 degrees Celsius is crucial.

If our lifestyle lowers the body temperature, supplementing these beneficial components may not be as effective. It's like trying to start a car in cold weather without providing the appropriate conditions. Just as a proper environment is essential for smooth operation, ensuring our body's 'engine' is warm enough is necessary to maximize the effects of enzymes and probiotics. 🌡️

The importance of maintaining body temperature extends beyond just promoting gut health. Dr. Louis Ignarro, a Nobel laureate from UCLA, highlighted that a 0.5-degree increase in core body temperature enhances blood circulation, detoxification, and can alleviate conditions like high blood sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol. Considering the relationship between weakened immunity and aging, maintaining body temperature becomes particularly crucial for the health of the elderly. 💪

Nevertheless, despite these benefits, there has been a reported decrease of about 1 degree in the average body temperature of modern individuals over the last 50 years.

One contributing factor could be attributed to modern cooling systems and excessive consumption of cold beverages. In environments where sweating is limited, cold beverage intake can lower body temperature further. ❄️

To promote health, it's important to maintain a temperature difference of no more than 5 degrees between indoor and outdoor environments and to consider the significance of maintaining a healthy body temperature before consuming cold beverages. 🥤
